Holy Spirit Sent

Greater works shall you do because I go to the Father...

The Master sent Us the Comforter ...

A person must accept Jesus Christ as Savior before he or she can experience the Baptism with the Holy Spirit.
The Baptism with the Holy Spirit is an experience separate and apart from the initial Salvation experience, and is always received after one is saved, he is to ask the Lord to baptize him with the Spirit.  (lk. 11:13)
We cannot merit or deserve the Baptism with the Holy Spirit.  It is a gift.  Peter spoke of receiving the Gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38).  Jesus said: "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children:  how much more shall your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them who ask Him?"
All Believers are commanded by Christ to receive.  (Acts 1:4-5)
When one is Baptized with the Spirit, always and without exception, he will speak with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives the utterance.  There no exceptions to this. In fact, speaking with other tongues is the initial, physical evidence, that one has been Baptized with the Holy Spirit.  (Acts2:4; 10:44-46; 11:15-17; 19:2,6; I Cor. 14:39)

For with stammering lips and another tongue will He speak to this people.  To whom He said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing."  (Isa.  28:11-12)
